TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR RISE BAKING KITS

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using this website. By accessing or using the Site (the “Site”, “we”, “us” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Rise is a UK-based sole trader business providing physical baking kits and tools.

2. Eligibility to Purchase
To make a purchase on our website, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Have a valid payment method
3. Products
Rise sells physical baking kits that include tools, recipe cards, and guidance cards.
Please note:
- Colours, packaging or components may vary slightly from images shown
- All kits are designed for beginner to intermediate home bakers
- An adult aged 18 years or over must be present when children are using our products
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that baking tools are used safely and in accordance with the guidance provided
- We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue products at any time
4. Prices & Payment
4.1 Prices
All prices shown on the Site are in GBP and include VAT (where applicable).
We reserve the right to update prices at any time.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept:
- PayPal
- Klarna (subject to eligibility)
- Shopify Payments
4.3 Klarna
Using Klarna means you enter into a separate agreement with Klarna Bank AB.
Their full terms apply to your chosen payment method.
5. Shipping
We aim to dispatch all orders within the timeframe listed at checkout.
Shipping times may vary depending on your location and courier services.
Once your order has been handed to the courier:
- Risk transfers to you
- You are responsible for receiving or collecting the parcel
- Delays caused by the courier are not our responsibility
If an incorrect address is provided, Rise is not liable for failed or delayed delivery.
6. No Returns / No Exchanges Policy
Due to the nature of our products, baking kits containing tools and food-related items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges, whether opened or unopened.
This is for:
- Hygiene reasons
- Safety reasons
- Quality control
- Our inability to restock food-related items once shipped
All sales are final.
6.1 Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Photos of the item
- Photo of the packaging
- Your order number
We will resolve this by offering a replacement or partial refund, depending on the situation.
We do not accept damage claims after 48 hours.
7. Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.Once a parcel has shipped, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
Please email us immediately if you need to request a cancellation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, product descriptions, and designs, is owned by Rise or licensed for use.
You may not:
- Copy
- Reproduce
- Modify
- Distribute
- Sell or re-sell any content or products without written permission.
9. Marketing & Email Subscriptions
If you subscribe to our email list via Mailchimp or Early Bird:
- You agree to receive marketing and promotional messages
- You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email

10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- We are not responsible for customer misuse of baking tools
- You are responsible for following recipe and safety instructions
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
